These aren't your traditional breakfast biscuits.
Have you ever had a biscuit sandwich like this before?
Let us answer that for you: No. You haven’t.
Willy Foster – known as the Biscuit King – shows up in the middle of the night to start fresh biscuit preparation. They’re open from 5am to 2pm, 7 days a week. So if you’re craving a biscuit for dinner, you’re out of luck.
If you can get there in the morning, though, your life might be changed. These are no ordinary biscuits. His biggest seller is the Hot Western, and includes tomatoes, sausage and jalapenos. The second biggest seller, he says, is a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Heaven!
The Biscuit King knows his customers, who he says are local farmers, construction workers, and retirees. He knows what they’ll by, and he says it’s not for ham and cheese or a steak biscuit.
“You can’t give ’em away!”
We never did get the recipe from Mr. Foster, but we do know one thing: These biscuits are not your average breakfast fare!
