St. Aug ‘Marching 100’: A Mardi Gras Tradition

How this marching band keeps the music alive every Carnival season.

The unmistakable sound of the St. Augustine High School “Marching 100” stirs up excitement among parade-goers every Carnival. However, behind-the-scenes a lot of work goes into drumming up the reputation of being one of the city’s best high school bands. We talked with St. Augustine High School President/CEO Dr. Kenneth St. Charles about how the band prepares for Mardi Gras parades.
