Dating back to 1851, McLeod Plantation has stood through some of the most significant time periods in our country’s history. The team of interpreters at McLeod shed light on the story of the sea island cotton plantation owners and the enslaved people who worked there. This historical site has been carefully preserved to protect its cultural and historical significance.
