Amanda DaBruzzo and her team at Double Doors Racing bought the filly as a claimer out of a race for $25,000.

Trainer Tom Amoss immediately saw something special in Chocolate Martini and suggested she run in the Fair Ground Oaks in New Orleans to qualify for the Longines Kentucky Oaks.

Chocolate Martini stretched her neck for the win at 27-1, and she’s now on the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard with 100 points.
